II. International Circular Fashion Competition
Theme: Tradition, Heritage, Folklore & Culture

We are proud to launch the II. International Circular Fashion Competition, inviting designers, artists, students and makers from around the world to celebrate heritage, folklore and cultural traditions through sustainable fashion and textiles.
This year’s competition is about combining the wisdom of the past with the innovation of today.
We welcome work that:
- Draws inspiration from traditional crafts such as embroidery, weaving, natural dyeing or repair
- Shares cultural stories and folklore through garments and textiles
- Uses circular and sustainable design approaches
- Brings new, experimental ideas that reimagine heritage in a contemporary way
What you can submit
- Garments or accessories that reflect tradition, heritage, folklore or culture
- Textile innovations created with circular or sustainable practices
- Designs that blend traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques
- Upcycled or reimagined work that carries cultural meaning
Competition Rules
- Must connect to the theme
- Use reclaimed, recycled, surplus or sustainably sourced materials
- Show creativity, craftsmanship and circular design thinking
- Original work only
- Submit clear photos (or video) + description (max 300 words)

Selected designs will be presented during the
International Circular Fashion Week Conference 16-17 March 2026 in Leeds
The Winner’s collection will also be showcased at the
Global Sustainable Fashion Week (GSFW) in Budapest
