🌿International Circular Fashion Week Conference 2025 - Leeds

What an incredible two days!

Thank you to everyone who joined us in Leeds to celebrate innovation, sustainability, and community in fashion. Designers, industry leaders, creatives, students, and changemakers came together to reimagine fashion for a circular future.

The event was made even more special with the Circular Fashion Award Competition Ceremony, where we proudly celebrated the winner and finalists for their outstanding creativity and dedication to circular fashion. Congratulations to all for inspiring us with their amazing work!

This page will soon be your go-to place for event highlights, photos, and upcoming news from the Circular Fashion Network.

The amazing people and the displays. Meeting a wonderful Ukrainian/Armenian Jewellery maker and buying a handcrafted turquoise beaded choker made from vintage and charity shop found beads. Discussing the challenges and opportunities of circular fashion with incredibly talented people on the panel with me, and realising we are all agreed – it’s about people, community, and collaboration.

“What I liked most about the International Circular Fashion Week Conference:
I especially appreciated the discussions on emerging technologies and the shifts they’re driving within the fashion industry. These insights gave me a valuable opportunity to reflect on these developments from a legal perspective, particularly as an LLM student researching sustainable fashion and wearable technology. The conference helped me see how legal frameworks are often trailing behind innovation, which reinforced the relevance of my dissertation and inspired new angles for policy reform.
The opportunity to ask and build networks.
A key highlight for me was hearing from entrepreneurs who are actively building circular fashion businesses based on repair, resale, and digital storytelling. Their real-world experiences brought the challenges of sustainability to life and allowed me to connect theory with practice. As a law student, it was especially rewarding to see how these innovations exposed gaps in current regulation—prompting me to think more critically about how the law can evolve to support such impactful work.”

“Event was perfectly organised! I liked that we had plenty of time before the fashion show for networking with designers and photographers and between the models. I love that it was allowed to use clothes for photoshoot even if a designer was not involved in a fashion show! Final party and an amazing view from the roof top was unforgettable!
To meet and to talk with designers, to change the contacts. Usually at fashion shows there is no time for this. I really enjoyed networking!
I loved the venue, location is not far from train station, lovely caffe inside! I loved that we mixed Natalia accessories with different designers clothes!
