I am a textile technology engineer who graduated from the Academy of Technical and Art Applied Studies in Belgrade. I have been involved in folklore dance for many years, which has shaped my sensitivity to movement, rhythm, and detail.

Describe your corset in one sentence: A refined blend of aristocracy and tradition, where simplicity meets elegance in a luxurious piece.

The story behind the corset: Although corsets are returning to the fashion scene today in a different form, they always evoke the era in which they first flourished. My first association with a corset is haute couture, high society, balls, and a ceremonial yet refined form with few details but great visual impact. On the other hand, our tradition is rich with various elements and symbols woven throughout our cultural heritage, each carrying a trace and a fragment of our history and our people. Through colours, symbols, and form, I wanted to merge these two seemingly incompatible directions into something restrained and simple, yet one that carries a rich story and tradition behind it.
